Friday, March 25

Burke County Public Library will host an Easter Egg Hunt Party at 10 a.m. for children 10 and under. Be sure to bring your own basket! We will be hiding 1,000 eggs between two age groups. There will be 1 prize egg for each group (0-5 years and 6-10 years.)

Shepeard Community Blood Center will hold a blood drive at the Burke County High School baseball field, 1057 Burke Veterans Parkway from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 26

All BHS-1967 classmates SGA/Gough/Midville/Waynesboro will meet at 2:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Deliverance Evangelistic Church located at 938 Old Millen Road in Waynesboro. Tuesday, March 29

Citizens of Georgia Power will host a benefit for the American Cancer Association’s Relay for Life. A “Special Night at Good Day Cafe” will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 29. The menu will include wings, fries, desserts and drinks.

The Shepeard Community Blood Center will hold a blood drive at the Waynesboro Rotary Wardlow Building, 210 W. Seventh Street from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The annual Burke County Middle School and Burke County High School FFA plant sale will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29 – Friday, April 1. The sale will be held at the BCHS greenhouse and close each day at 5:00 p.m.

Blakeney Elementary will host a transition meeting for parents and students of rising 2nd graders at 5:00 p.m.
