Touching lives forever

To teach is to touch a life forever,” and if anyone is counting, that’s more than 615 students for Debbie Kittrell. Kittrell, a K-4 teacher at Edmund Burke Academy, was recently presented with the Georgia Independent School Association Distinguished Service Award for educators who have reached a milestone of 25 years or more of service to the profession. “This school has been the greatest blessing, and I thank the Lord for the opportunity He has given me to be able to work here,” Kittrell said of her 29 years at EBA.
