Katherine “Kitty” Lewis was named a presidential scholar at the University of Georgia after completing her first semester with a grade point average of 4.0.

Taylor Ivey

The University of South Carolina Aiken School of Nursing celebrated its December graduates recently. Among them were Taylor Ivey of Hephzibah.

Taylor Ivey of Hephzibah graduated from the School of Nursing in December.

Taylor Jones

Taylor Jones of Hephzibah was named to the dean’s list at Georgia Southwestern State University for the fall 2019 semester. To be eligible, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Winston Conner

Winston Conner of Waynesboro was among nearly 1,000 students who earned degrees from the University of North Georgia during fall 2019. He graduated with distinction with an associate of science in computer science pathway.

Katelyn Maruca

Katelyn Maruca of Waynesboro was named to the dean’s list at Berry College for the fall 2019 semester. This list honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.

Local students attending the University of North Georgia were recently named to the college’s president’s list. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in an associate degree program, take 12 or more credit hours in the semester and achieve a 4.0 grade point average. Local students named to the list were Abbigail Adams of Waynesboro, Ashley Jenkins of Sardis and Gayla Landing of Millen.
