Area restaurants celebrated Cinco de Mayo, in honor of the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France May 5, 1862 during the Franco-Mexican War.
Melissa Ellison served specialty margaritas at Good Day Café, along with a Mexican-themed menu during their Cinco de Mayo-naise celebration.
