The Burke County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center is hosting a “Starting a New Business” Seminar Thursday, May 5 from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Chamber office in the historic courthouse.
The seminar will provide beneficial information for those interested in starting a new business or those who have recently opened. Some of the topics to be covered will be permitting, licensing, zoning, crucial financial information and much more. Information from the City of Waynesboro and Burke County will also be available to provide local criteria on zoning and building permitting. Attending is free thanks to sponsorship from Georgia Power, but registration is required.
