
Golf season has ended for the Bears. The boys competed in the 3-AAA region tournament last week, finishing in fifth place after a day on the Waynesboro Country Club course. Only the top two teams move forward to the state tourney – Richmond Academy and Westside High School, who finished the day with a course total of 305 and 317, respectively. Burke County’s team finished with a total of 347, with Dalton Quick, pictured above, completing the course with 79 strokes, Lee Justice, 84, Dalton Moss, 90, and Kaleb Tobat, 94. Grovetown and Thomas took the third and fourth place spots with a 338 from both schools. A total of nine teams competed.
