A WEEK OF WINS





The Burke County High School Bears (10-5, 2-2) picked up three wins last week, including one over region foe Richmond Hill High School. They edged by the Wildcats 4-3 last Friday. Earlier in the week, they defeated Jefferson County High School 5-0 and Thomson High School 2-0. Burke County will travel to Liberty County High School Friday, April 11, for a rematch against the Panthers, who defeated the Bears 5-4 in their first region contest of the season. The Panthers are currently undefeated in region play with four wins. Burke County will play another region game at Hephzibah High School Tuesday, April 15.
