1.1 SEALED BIDS
Sealed bids for construction of 2022
Waynesboro LMIG will be received
until March 21st, 2021, 5 PM at the
City of Waynesboro at 615 North
Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia
30830. They will be publicly opened
and read at a March 21st City Council meeting, which starts at 6:00 PM.
Bids may also be mailed to 615
North Liberty Street, Waynesboro,
GA 30830. Any bid received after
said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may
be withdrawn after the closing time
for the receipt of bids for a period of
thirty (30) days.
1.2 SCOPE OF WORK
The work shall consist of furnishing
all products and equipment and
performing all labor necessary to
perform the following:
The work to be done shall consist
of providing all materials and performing all labor necessary but not
limited to construct approximately
945 tons of 165 lb/SY 9.5mm mix
asphalt, 860 gallons of bituminous
tack coat, 5,005 SY of milling, 246
tons of 65 lbs/SY of asphalt leveling,
striping, traffic control and miscellaneous construction work.
Time allotted for completion of work
is ninety (90) calendar days. All
Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in
one (1) Contract.

be in the best interest of the Project
to make an award to that Bidder,
