A travel baseball team from Burke County finished second in the Ga-Lina Boo Ball Tournament held in Aiken over the Halloween weekend. The team, comprised of local middle and high school players, competed in the 14 and under bracket and finished with a record of 2-1-1. Their only loss was to the top-ranked team in Georgia, a 1-0 loss in 6 ½ innings. The team is coached by Larry Keller, Tyler Torek and Scott Gay.
