Cori's Photography Workshop

1 PM to 3 PM

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA

Interested in photography but don't know where to start? Want to improve your camera skills? Whether you just use a smartphone, point-and-shoot, or DSLR camera, Ranger Cori wants to share some pro tips from her years in Hollywood with you. Join this workshop to learn and practice getting better photos and video of friends, family, and nature. $10 plus $5 parking. 478-982-1660.

7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA

Watch a family friendly movie outside and enjoy the beautiful grounds beside the museum. Bring your favorite blanket or lounge chair, kick back and enjoy. Cokes, popcorn and other items will be on sale by Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park. Movie will begin at sunset so arrive early to get your favorite spot. $5 parking. 478-982-1660.

Full Moon Paddle

8:30 PM to 10 PM

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA

Come join a Park Ranger on a guided paddle trip under the full moon. Serene Magnolia Lake becomes beautiful and eery at night, a perfect addition to your weekend activities. $5 - $20 plus $5 parking. 478- 982-1660.

Tortoise Tails

11 AM to 11:30 AM

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA

Come meet Mercedes our adorable animal ambassador for Magnolia Springs State Park. Gopher Tortoises play an important role in our native ecosystem and are Georgia's official state reptile. You're welcome to bring leafy greens or fruit to donate and watch her eat it while you learn all about what makes Gopher Tortoises so special. $5 parking. 478-982-1660. Handicapped Accessible

Spring Into Easter

1 PM to 4:30 PM

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA

Magnolia Springs will be celebrating Easter with crafts, bunny games, and more. Participants will create Easter baskets, go on an Easter basket hike, make Easter bunnies, see and touch real rabbits and participate in an Easter scavenger egg hunt. Children will be limited to so many eggs. $3 per child or $10 per family $5 parking. 478-982-1660.
