Public notice is hereby given that
there will be a sale of the property
described below by the United States
Marshals in an attempt to satisfy
that certain Judgment entered on
May 17, 2016, in the U.S. District
Court, Middle District of Georgia,
Athens Division, Civil Action No:
3:15-CV-83-CDL (the “Judgment”),
in favor of The Guarantee Company

Said Property will be sold by the
United States Marshals Service for
the Southern District of Georgia at
public outcry before the steps of the
Burke County Courthouse, located at
602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro,
Georgia 30830, within the legal hours
of sale beginning at 10:00am on
Tuesday, April 2, 2019, to the highest
and/or successful bidder. Sale shall
be to the highest and/or successful
bidder, who shall pay a minimum of
twenty percent (20%) of the purchase
price at the time of execution sale via
cash, certified check, or cashier’s
check, and shall pay any remainder
of the purchase price (if any) in full

The sale of the Property will be made

the aforesaid Judgment. Expenses of
the sale (including court costs and
Marshals’ fees and expenses) will
be deducted from the proceeds of
the sale. All proceeds from the sale
will be applied as provided by Federal
and Georgia law, as applicable. The
Judgment Creditor shall be permitted
to bid. In the event that the Judgment
Creditor is the highest bidder and
purchaser of the Property, Judgment
Creditor shall be permitted to credit
the proceeds from the sale towards
the Judgment in lieu of payment in
cash, and the United States Marshal
shall credit bid the Judgment Creditor’s bid with the total sum including
interest and costs accruing subsequent to this judgment, as permitted
by 31 U.S.C. Section 3715. The right
is reserved to adjourn the day of the
sale to another day, time and place
certain without further publication,
upon announcement at the time of
the sale set forth above. This sale
may be rescinded at any time.
Said Property will be sold AS IS without any warranty express or implied
and subject to any outstanding ad

Notice is hereby given in compliance
with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and
32-3-5 that the Georgia Department
of Transportation has approved the
Location and Design of this project.
The date of location and design
approval is March 1, 2019
The project is located in Georgia
Militia Districts 73 and 74 of Burke
County.
The proposed project will replace
the existing S.R. 56 bridge over
Mill Creek in Burke County with
one meeting current standards. The
project is approximately 5.8 miles
northeast of Midville, GA, about
1 mile southwest of the S.R. 56
intersection with Magruder Road.
The replacement bridge will be
built on existing alignment using a
designated off-site detour on state
routes. The new structure will be approximately 120 feet long and 43.25
feet wide, consisting of two 12-foot
travel lanes with 8-foot shoulders
for a 40-foot total clear width. The
roadway typical section will include
two 12-foot travel lanes with 10-foot
shoulders consisting of 4 feet of
pavement and 6 feet of grass. The
total length of the proposed project
will be approximately 1,200 feet
(0.23 mile).
