What's Next?


Santa Claus is coming back to the City of Midville after 25 years. The city is looking for floats, bands, queens, ROTC units, motorcycles, cars, civic clubs, Boyscouts/Girlscouts, etc. For more information, call 478-589-7557. The lineup for parade will be 1 p.m. and will begin at 2 p.m.

Waynesboro Toastmasters will meet 10 a.m. at 841 Jones Ave. Featured speakers will be Terry Kelly and Brenda Jones. Visitors are welcome for educational fun. Refreshments will be served.


First Tuesday at Liberty community fellowship at Liberty Market, 107 E. 7th Street, from noon-1 p.m. Pastor Logan Almy will preach, and we will enjoy a complimentary lunch along with singing and prayer. Free diabetic teaching will be offered in the Burke Medical Center classroom, 6-8 p.m. The course is designed to help diabetics learn how to better control their diabetes through healthy eating. Participants should eat before they come and are encouraged to bring along their partners or anyone who helps with food preparation. Please enter through Emergency Room waiting area.
