Slowly Butt Smokin’ wins Racks by the Tracks

Slowly Butt Smokin’ proved they had the best racks around. The team, headed by brothers Richard and Mark Rogers, pictured above with family and members of the Shrine Club and Southern Bank, won the Racks by the Tracks rib cook-off at the annual Farm Fest this past Saturday. They have now earned the championship trophy a total of four times, with previous wins in 2013, 2014 and 2016. Second place honors went to Big J and the Butts and coming in third was Lick da Bone. Lip Smackin’ Oinkers came in fourth place, honorable mention. In chicken, Mountain Time BBQ of Millen won for the second year in a row. Smoking in the Doghouse finished second and Smoking and Lovett came in third place. Big J and the Butts finished fourth.
