Fall Revival

Haven-Munnerlyn United Methodist Church continues its Fall Revival 7:30 p.m. nightly, through Sept. 14. Speakers include: Wednesday, the Rev. Clary Dishmond; and Thursday, Ira Hendrix. The public is invited.

Fall Revival

Phillip Grove Baptist Church will hold its Fall Revival 7 p.m. each Wednesday in September.

Special guests include Wednesday, Sept. 13, the Rev. Sheldon Cooper and members of Galilee Baptist Church; Wednesday, Sept 20, the Rev. Revival

Metropolitan Baptist Church continues its revival 7 p.m. nightly, through Thursday, Sept. 14. The Rev. William Blount, pastor of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, is the guest evangelist. The Rev. Timothy Kirkland invites the public.

Three-Night Women Service

Palmer Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3261 Old Waynesboro Road, Hephzibah, continues its Three-Night Women Service 7:30 p.m. nightly, through Sept. 14. Guest speakers include ministers Ward, Elaine Stokes and Ruby Rucker. The Rev. J.J. Smith is pastor.

Pastoral Anniversary

New Day Ministries True Deliverance and Restoration, 423 Ward St., Waynesboro, will celebrate its sixth Pastoral Anniversary for Lydell and Erica Daniels 7 p.m. nightly, Sept. 13-15. The theme is “Honoring Our Leadership.” The celebration will conclude 3 p.m. Sept. 17, at 262 South Liberty St., Waynesboro. Special guests for the celebration include Corey Tillman (Wednesday), Yannik McKie (Thursday), Darrell Smith (Friday) and John Reed (Sunday). The public is invited.

Fall Revival

Salter Grove Baptist Church will continue its annual Fall Revival 7:30 p.m. nightly, through Sept. 14. Speakers include Wednesday, Sept. 13, the Rev. Bobby Williams Sr.; and Thursday, Sept. 14, the Rev. James Walthour. The church will celebrate its 136th church anniversary Sunday, Sept. 17. The Rev. Inman Godbee, pastor, invites the public.

Free Lunch

Lunch will be served at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 841 Jones Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Bags of groceries will be available for heads of households. All are welcome. A devotion will be given by Elder Clark. There will be door prizes.

Youth Ministry Month

Jones Grove Baptist Church Join Youth Ministry will celebrate its youth during the month of September. Youth Conference, 5 p.m. Sept.16; 49th Youth Anniversary 2 p.m. Sept. 17. Our guest speaker will be Minister Brandon Lynn. Rev. Melvin Habersham, Pastor of Jones Grove Baptist Church invite the public to attend.

Missionary Anniversary

Christian Believer Outreach Mission will hold its 13th Missionary Anniversary, 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 at McElmurray Spring Branch. The Rev. Michael Walker will be guest speaker.

9th Anniversary/Appreciation

Forest Hill Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the ninth anniversary of its pastor, Larry Boyd, 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16. The Rev. Edward Blueford and members of Bryant Grove and McElmurray Tabernacle Baptist churches are in charge of services. The public is invited.

Senior Citizens Appreciation

Bark Camp Missionary Baptist Church, 1327 Magruder Road, Midville, will hold its Senior Citizens Appreciation program Sunday, Sept. 17. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by the appreciation program at 11:30. The public is invited.

Gospel Music

Rosemont Baptist Church will host an evening of gospel music 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, featuring Emmaus Road Quartet of Dalton. Emmas Road is an energetic male quartet with a sound, style and anointing all its own. There is no admission but a love offering will be taken.

Homecoming

Fairfield Baptist Church, 1582 Ben Hatcher Road, Waynesboro, will hold its 113th Homecoming Celebration 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. The Rev. General Jennings and the Bottsford Spring Baptist Church will be the special guests. The theme will be “Disciples in the Making,” Matthew 16:24. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall. The public is invited.

McElmurray Grove Baptist Church will celebrate its 34th ushers anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. The Rev. Nathaniel Howard Jr. invites the public.

Church Anniversary

Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church will celebrate its 150th church anniversary 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. The Rev. Chauncey A. Scott, pastor of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Island, S.C., will be guest speaker. Dinner will be served in the Samuel Lynch Fellowship Hall with an old time outdoor serving under the tents.

Murphy Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Support Group will host its ninth annual workshop 10 a.m. Sept. 23. The theme is "Under Construction Still." Health and financial awareness are the topics of discussion. The public is invited.

Power of Prayer Brunch

Second Hopeful Missionary Baptist Church, 277 Second Hopeful Church Road, Hephzibah, will host its first Power of Prayer Brunch 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Theme will be “Personal Transformation.” Guest speakers include Patricia Dwightt (St. Stephens UMC), the Rev. Blount Chapel Baptist Church, 684 Blount Chapel Road, near Vidette, will celebrate its 120th church anniversary 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. The Rev. Melvin Habersham and members of Jones Grove and Rosier Grove Baptist churches will be in charge of the service.

Family and Friends Day

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its Family and Friends Day 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. The Rev. Bobby Williams Jr. and members of St. John and Williams Grove Baptist churches will be the special guests. There will be a special moment to honor three mothers: Mattie Ervin, Amy Jones and Eliza Walker during the celebration. The Rev. Ira Hendrix Jr., invites the public.

It's Critical Conference

Cornerstone Christian Center Church, 710 Stone Ave. in Waynesboro, will hold its annual It's Critical Conference 7 p.m. nighty Tuesday- Thursday, Sept. 26-28. The theme for this year's conference is "iBelieve." All seats are free. Doors open at 6 p.m. for prayer and dinner.
