Spring Revival

Mills Grove Baptist Church will hold its annual Spring Revival 7:30 p.m. nightly, April 17-19. Guest minister will be the Rev. Chavous Boyd.

Revival

Metropolitan Baptist Church will hold its revival 7 p.m. nightly, April 18-20. Guest ministers for the revival will be the Rev. Vincent Brown, Tuesday; the Rev. Chavous Boyd, Wednesday; the Rev. Donald Long, Thursday. The Rev. Timothy Kirkland invites the public.

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the sixth Pastoral Appreciation for Pastor Ira Hendrix, Jr. 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23. The Rev. Elliott Bing and the Phillip Grove Baptist Church will be in charge of the service.

Children’s Program

Rosemont Baptist Church, 522 Hwy 25 North, Waynesboro, will host its Children’s Program: The Easter Pageant at Mr. Pigg’s Barbeque Emporium 6 p.m. Sunday, April 23. Everyone loves to watch our children’s faces light up when they sing about Jesus. This musical includes sparkling songs, clever dialogue, and unmistakable spiritual truth. Bell Baptist Church, 1970 Hwy 25 South, Waynesboro will celebrate its 30th Calendar Rally program Sunday, April 23. Sunday School will begin at 10:30 a.m. and program will follow at 11:30 a.m. The public is invited.

Rosier Grove Baptist

Rosier Grove Baptist Church will celebrate 15 years of honoring Pastor Melvin Habersham and First Lady 10:30 a.m. April 23. The guest minister for the occasion will be Pastor Johnny Branch along with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Family. The public is invited.

Mills Grove Baptist Church will host its Candlelight Communion Service 5 p.m. Sunday, April 23.

Mary L. Utley Education Day

Bottsford Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 2154 Seven Oaks Road, Waynesboro, will celebrate Mary L. Utley Education Day Sunday, April 23. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m., followed by Worship service at 11 a.m. The Rev. John Lumpkin, Sr., pastor of Fairfield Baptist Church, will deliver the sermon. The Rev. General Jennings invites the public.

Men and Women’s Day

Blount Chapel Baptist Church, 684 Blount Chapel Road, near Vidette, will celebrate its annual Men and Women’s Day April 23. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m., followed by Worship service at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be Minister Jacqueline Jones. The public is invited.

Girls Lock-in

Cornerstone Christian Center, 710 Stone Avenue, Waynesboro, will host a Girls Lock-in 7 p.m. Friday, April 28. The girls will participate in classes on hair care, cooking and liturgical dance. Woman2Woman

The women of Cornerstone Christian Center, 710 Stone Avenue, Waynesboro, will be in charge of the service Saturday, April 28. The theme of the service is Woman2Woman: Answering the call of Titus 2 and will begin at 9 a.m. Everyone is asked to wear black and a pastel color of their choice.

Food for the Soul

Fielding Spring Missionary Baptist Church will host its Food for the Soul 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29. They are accepting donations for slab of ribs, $30; small smoked Boston butt, $35; and large smoked Boston butts, $45. Gospel Sing

2017 Homecoming

Hopeful Baptist Church will celebrate it 2017 Homecoming 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 30. The Rev. Jerry Owens, a former pastor, will be in charge of the service. Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ and lots of great food will be served following the service. There will be no Sunday School or Evening Worship.

Youth Program

Forest Hill Missionary Baptist Church will host its Youth Program 3 p.m. Sunday, April 30. The speaker for the occasion will be Minister Breon Evans. All churches are invited to attend and encouraged to bring its youth.
