The Cancer Slayers first ever Color Run to benefit Burke County Relay For Life will be held Saturday, April 22, at the Southern Bank Pavilion on Liberty Street in Waynesboro. Warm-up starts at 9 a.m. with the race, a one-mile fun run/ walk, following at 9:30. Call Kim or Crystal at Southern Bank for more information 706.554.7756. Stop by Southern Bank to register.


A seminar covering estate and funeral planning and business start-up will be held at noon at Green Branch Christian Faith Center, 3254 Highway 25 North, Hephzibah. Guests include State Court judge and attorney Jackson Cox, Sincerai Stallings of Stallings Law Firm LLC in Augusta and Crystal Preston, manager and director of Phinazee and Son Funeral Home in Waynesboro.
