Revival and Pastor Appreciation

Gospel Explosion Ministries, Sardis will hold its revival, Feb. 16-19. Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. and Fri. Guest speaker will be Pastor Brenda Whitt Abney from Aiken, SC. A banquet in honor of its 19th Pastor Appreciation will be held at 6 p.m. Sat., Feb. 18 at the Burke County Senior Citizen Center in Waynesboro. Guest speaker will be Elder Douglas Hones of Barton, SC. The celebration will continue 5 p.m. Sun. Feb. 19 at Gospel Explosion Ministries in Sardis. Guest speaker will be Pastor Ernest Dixon of Sylvania. The public is invited.

Rainbow Program

William Grove Baptist Church, 649 Bates Road, Waynesboro, will celebrate its seventh Rainbow Program 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Dinner will be served. Pastor Darryl Burns invites the public.

Author to be Guest Speaker

Cornerstone Christian Center, 710 Stone Ave., Waynesboro, will have Waynesboro native, Dr. Maurice McBride, author of the Oliver Vance series as guest speaker 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. The public is invited.

Senior Citizens Day Program

First Community Missionary Baptist Church will hold its Senior Citizens Day program 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Wardlow Building 210 West 7th St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Family and Friends Fellowship

Pastoral Anniversary

St. Mary’s Baptist Church of Girard will celebrate the anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Taquan Murray, 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. The Rev. Donte Kenly, pastor of St. James AME Church in Columbia, S.C., will be guest speaker. Guest choir will be the South Carolina State University United Voices of Christ.
