Bid documents may be reviewed at the F.W.
Dodge Plan Room, and theAugusta Builder’s
Exchange. A mandatory pre-bid conference
will be held on October 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
LOCAL TIME at the Burke County School
System Offices , 789 Burke Veteran Parkway,
Waynesboro, Georgia 30830. The Pre-bid
Conference is mandatory in order to submit
a bid. Prospective Bidders not attending the
Pre-Bid Conference will not be allowed to
submit bids on the project.
Bidding documents may be obtained at the
office of the architect, James W. Buckley and

Associates, 7 East Congress Street Savannah
Georgia 31401. Applications for documents,
together with a deposit of $500.00 per set shall
be filed promptly with the architect. Bidding
material will be forwarded; shipping charges
collect, as soon as possible. The full amount
of deposit for one set will be refunded to each
general contractor who submits a bona fide
bid upon return of such set in good condition
within 30 days after date of opening of bids. All
other deposits will be refunded with
deductions approximating cost of reproduction
of documents upon return of same in good
condition within 30 days after date of opening
bids.
Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum
basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period
of 35 days after time has been called on the
date of opening. Bids must be accompanied
by a bid bond and in an amount not less than
5% of the base bid. Both performance bond
and a payment bond will be required in an
amount equal to 100% of the contract price,
and executed by a surety company licensed to
do business in the State of Georgia and listed
in the Department of Treasury Circular 570,
latest edition. The Surety Company shall
have an A.M. Best Company minimum
rating of “A” with a financial size of VII “7”
or better. Bonds must be accompanied by
letter stating bonding company’s current rating
for verification prior to acceptance by the
Owner and execution of the formal Owner/
Contractor agreement.
Contractors shall submit to the Owner the
completed Statement of Bidders Qualifications
Form attached to the Proposal Form at the
time of the bid. The successful bidder must be
prepared to submit within five (5) days of
Owner’s request a properly executed AIA
Document A-305 with a current audited/
reviewed Financial Statement (both to be less
than one-year old). Proposed bidders must
show they have successfully completed Three
(3) K-12 schools of this proposed project’s
scope and 8 million or greater in dollar value
and square footage within the past five years.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or
all bids and to waive technicalities and
informalities and to award the project on

Security Deed executed by Charles C. Jenkins
to Centex Home Equity Company, LLC dated
November 24, 2004, and recorded in Deed
Book 523, Page 56, Burke County Records,
said Security Deed having been last sold,
assigned, transferred and conveyed to The
Bank of New York Mellon f/k/a The Bank
of New York, successor to JPMorgan
Chase Bank, N.A., as Trustee for Centex
Home Equity Loan Trust 2005-B by
Assignment, securing a Note in the original
principal amount of $76,000.00, the holder
thereof pursuant to said Deed and Note
thereby secured has declared the entire
amount of said indebtedness due and

authority, any matters which might be
disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection
of the property, any assessments, liens,
encumbrances, zoning ordinances,
restrictions, covenants, and matters of record
superior to the Security Deed first set out
above.
The proceeds of said sale will be applied to
the payment of said indebtedness and all
expenses of said sale as provided in said
Deed, and the balance, if any, will be distributed

confirmation that the sale is not prohibited
