Felipe Sanchez Felipe Sanchez Deputies finally have cuffs on a former resident accused of trying to pay his young stepdaughter to have sex with him.

Felipe Consteno Sanchez, 38, fled Burke County in September 2011 when his wife became suspicious and questioned her 10-year-old daughter. She called authorities when the young girl told her what the money was for.

At the time, investigators said it wasn’t the first time Sanchez tried to pay the child for sex … it had occurred at least twice before.

He was picked up Tuesday in Columbia County and extradited to Burke where he faces charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes and criminal attempt/child molestation.

When Sanchez left home more than two years ago, he had two young children with the victim’s mother and another on the way.
