Thompson Bridge

Thompson Bridge Baptist Church will host its annual threenight Spring Revival, 7:30 p.m. nightly, March 12-14. Guest revivalist is Rev. James Strowbridge of Franklin Covenant Baptist Church.

Endtime Faith

Endtime Faith Deliverance Church of Midville will continue its weeklong services in celebration and appreciation of Pastor Clyde Foreman Sr. and First Lady Theodosha Foreman, 7:30 p.m. nightly, through March 14. Services will culminate, 3 p.m., Sunday, March 16 with guest speaker Superintendent Kenneth Thomas of William Grove Holiness.

Lenten Services

The Burke Black Churches Benevolent Association will observe the 40-day Lenten season with services through Easter Sunday. The next three services are: 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 12 at Neely Grove with Rev. Evelyn Ellis; 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 at Westminster with Bishop Raymond Cooper; and 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 26 at Metropolitan Church with Rev. Willie B. Tomlin.

Roberson Grove- Midville

Roberson Grove Baptist Church of Midville will host its annual Friends and Family Program, 5 p.m., Saturday, March 15. Special guests are Pastor LaRome Lewis of Waynesboro and the Lewis Holiness Temple family.

Oak Grove

Oak Grove Baptist Church of Girard will host its annual Family and Friends Day Program, 11:30 a.m., Sunday March 16. Rev. Willie Givens, pastor of Cochran Grove and Second Springfield Baptist Churches is in charge of service.

Metropolitan Baptist

Metropolitan Baptist Church’s Missionary Circle will celebrate its Missionary Anniversary, 2 p.m., Sunday, March 16.

Fairfield Baptist

Fairfield Baptist Church will host its Annual Family and Friends Fellowship, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 16, Special guests are Rev. James O. Strowbridge and the Franklin Covenant Baptist Church family. Dinner will be served.

Palmer Grove

Palmer Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3261 Old Waynesboro Road in Hephzibah, will host its Annual Evangelistic (Spring Revival) Services, 7:30 p.m. nightly, March 17 – 19. Guest Evangelist is Rev. Tommie Walker, pastor of Thankful and St. Clair Baptist Churches

William Grove

William Grove Baptist Church on Bates Road will host its Annual Spring Revival, 7:30 p.m. nightly, March 18-20. Guest minister is Rev. Virgil Lynch, pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church.


Springhill Baptist Church of Hephzibah will continue Spring Revival, 7 p.m. nightly, through March 13. Guest revivalist is Rev. Les Howard of Old Pilgrim Baptist Church in Greenville, S.C.

Second Bynes

Second Bynes Grove Missionary Baptist Church will host its 20th 50 States Rally, 5 p.m., Saturday, March 15. Mistress of Ceremony is Sister Barbara Cunningham of the Barrett Grove Baptist Church.

St. John

St. John Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Family & Friends Day, 4 p.m., Saturday, March 15. Rev. Chavas Boyd and the Mt. Vernon Church family are special guests.

Palmer Grove

Palmer Grove Baptist Church, located at 3261 Old Waynesboro Rd. in Hephzibah, will celebrate its Youth Church Anniversary, 2 p.m., Sunday, March 16.

St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s Baptist Church of Girard will host its Annual Spring Revival, 7:30 p.m. nightly, March 19-21. Guest pastor is Rev. Michael C. Smith Sr. of Savannah

Clear Spring

Clear Spring Missionary Baptist Church, located on Old Wadley Road in Midville, will host a Women’s Day Program, 10:30 a.m., Sunday, March 23.

Fellowship Missionary

Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church’s combined choirs will host a Praise Celebration, 3 p.m., Sunday, March 23.

McElmurray Tabernacle

McElmurray Tabernacle Baptist Church will celebrate the 24th Pastor’s Appreciation for Rev. Edward Blueford, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 23. Guest Evangelist is Rev. Elliott Bing.

Roberson Grove

The Mission Ministry at Roberson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located on Highway 24 W in Waynesboro, will hold its 14th Annual Mission Anniversary, 11:30 a.m., Sunday, March 23. Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m.


Watkinsville Baptist Church will host Teens Living for Christ – an “intense week” of fellowship, songs and preaching for all local youth. The program begins, 7 p.m., nightly, March 25-27 with guest speaker Rev. Terrence Thomas of Nazarene Baptist Church of Fairfax, S.C.

Mt. Olive

Mt. Olive Baptist Church will hold a revival beginning Sunday, March 23 at 11 a.m. with special guest David Livingston. Lunch will be served after the service. The message will continue Sunday night starting at 6:30 and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.
