SATURDAY, MARCH 15

Free lunch will be served, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 841 Jones Avenue in Waynesboro. The luncheon is hosted by Westminster and is available to anyone wanting or needing a meal. Children accompanied by adults are welcome.

SUNDAY, MARCH 16

The Augusta Civil War Roundtable will meet at 3:30 p.m. at Morris Museum of Art on Tenth Street at Riverwalk for special viewing and presentation on the Civil War art of Conrad Wise Chapman.

TUESDAY, MARCH 18

The Waynesboro Lions Club will meet, 5:30 p.m., at the Lake View Restaurant. All members and those interested in being a member are asked to attend.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19

Free Diabetic Teaching will be offered in the Burke Medical Center classroom, 6-8 p.m. The course is designed to help diabetics learn how to better control their diabetes through healthy eating. Participants should eat before they come and are encouraged to bring along their partners or anyone else who helps with food preparation. Space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged.

THURSDAY, MARCH 27

Faith Christian Academy invites prospective students and families to tour its new facility and attend spring Open House on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 6-7:30 p.m. FCA, located at 726 Hwy 24 S, offers a college preparatory Christian Education for grades K3-11.
