Dixon crowned queen



Whitney Dixon, daughter of Herbie and Nell Dixon, was crowned Edmund Burke Academy homecoming queen for the 2012-2013 school year during halftime of last Friday night’s football game at Rogers Field. Dixon was voted queen by winning the majority vote of the 9th-12th grade students. Dixon was joined on the court by Kasie Hargrove and Gray Lewis, who were also candidates for queen. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Claire Rives, and was escorted by her father. At right, Dixon is congratulated by her fellow cheerleaders.
