Pfizer Animal Health donates to local FFA

BOE Photo-Amy J. Nunnally BOE Photo-Amy J. Nunnally The FFA Chapters at Burke County High School and Burke County Middle School recently received a generous donation thanks to Ed Coble III and Harmony Grove Dairy in Waynesboro. Through Mr. Coble’s dairy supply business in New Mexico, Pfizer Animal Health presented a check to the schools in the amount of $5,356. Both FFA Livestock teams will use the money to purchase new grooming chutes, shavings for bedding, clippers and other grooming equipment and show supplies. These materials will help the students learn to care for and maintain the health and well being of their dairy show calves, which are supplied by Harmony Grove Dairy. Above, the Coble family is pictured with BCHS and BCMS FFA officers, advisors, and livestock team members.
