Shaunquil Conner and Raquel Habersham, both 22, were arrested for robbery Friday after another shopper not only identified them, but provided officers with the names of their parents.

The entire robbery was recorded by security cameras, including several minutes of footage that show the men following the victim from aisle to aisle awaiting an opportunity to grab his wallet, which was protruding from his back pocket.

“They were stalking him,” said Waynesboro Police Department’s lead investigator Lt. Joe Nelson, urging residents to be cautious with their purses and wallets. “It was easy pickings.”

Conner eventually made the move, he said, then both men ran in different directions.

Police found the wallet, minus $67, stuffed inside a dispenser in the men’s restroom. Investigators later seized the stolen cash, which Conner and Habersham had already split amongst themselves.
