Real men

Real men really did read recently at Waynesboro Primary School when 62 male community volunteers came to the school to read. Included in the group of “Real Men” was Congressman John Barrow. “What a wonderful experience for young children to have a ‘real man’ read to them. Providing good role models for our students is what this is all about. The students love it, the real men love it, and the staff at WPS loves it. A big thanks to all of our Real Men for participating so willingly,” said Etta Young, Waynesboro Primary School instructional coordinator. Community readers were, above, Dontaye Green, Travis Nunnally, Tyrone Tablata, Wes Lawson, Larry Allen, Clary Dishmond, Josh Brantley, James Hollingsworth, Jones Gresham, Brent Lively, George Glenn, Mark Flowers, Ellis Godbee, Purvis Dukes, Robert Floyd, Travis Jenkins, Alphonso Williams, Barrett Wimberly, Tim Williams, Johnny Jenkins, Tommy Mitchell, Bruce Petitt, Rick Marsh, Greg Coursey, Sam Vernan, Chris Withers, Charles Prescott, Jr., Gary Fulcher, Paul Williams, Dexter Rhodes, Wayne Hickman, Gerald Murray, Bill Knight, Xavier Wimberly, Deandre Davis, Sterling Wimberly, Tony Wesby, George Bennett, Jody Prescott, Selwyn Godbee, Larry Lewis, Leonard Hill, Congressman John Barrow, James Epps, Josh Love, Allen Kicklighter, Thaddeus Shubert, Eric Parker, Steve Young, Thurman Norville, Al Wright, Richard Washington, Robert Stokes, Matt Shryock, Sam Adkins, Reed Bentley, Jonathan Wright, Daniel Wiggins, Mike Godfree, Jeff Billips, Daryl Smith and Dave Williams.
