Miracle Temple Choir

The Miracle Temple Choir will celebrate its 7th Annual Choir Anniversary, 5 p.m., Saturday, April 24. The public, and especially youth choirs, are invited to attend.

Haven-Munnerlyn

Haven-Munnerlyn United Methodist Church will hold its annual spring revival, 7:30 nightly, Wednesday, April 21 through Friday, April 23. Guest speakers are as follows: Wednesday: the Rev. Charles Shipman of Metropolitan Baptist Church; Thursday: the Rev. Sabrina Lewis of Heart of Jesus Church; and Friday: the Rev. Samuel Cooper Jr. of Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church.

Second Hopeful Baptist Church will have its first Deacons & Deaconess program 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 25. The Rev. Tinsley Wilcher, pastor of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in Augusta, will be the special guest.

Brown Grove Baptist Church will have its fifth annual shoe rally 2 p.m., Sunday, May 2. The Rev. Charles Lacy of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will be the guest minister. The public is invited.

Thankful

Thankful Baptist Church will celebrate its ushers’ anniversary 2 p.m., Sunday, April 25. The Rev. Allen Webb and members of Johnson Chapel and First Baptist of Millen will be in charge of services. The public is invited.

Vidette UMC

Vidette United Methodist Church will have its Homecoming Sunday, April 25. The Rev. Jack Taylor will be the guest pastor. Following the service a covered dish lunch will be served on the grounds. Revival services will begin 7 p.m. with guest speaker Matt Shryock.

Lovett Hill St. James Baptist Church will have its spring revival 7:30 nightly, Monday- Wednesday, May 10-12. The Rev. Jerry Smith, pastor of Palmer Grove Baptist Church, will be the guest minister.

The deacon ministry of Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Millen will hold a Fruit of the Spirit program 6 p.m., Saturday, April 24. Bobby Williams Jr., pastor, invites the public.

Murphy Ebenezer

Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church will celebrate its 141st church anniversary 11:30 a.m., Sunday, May 2. The mistress of ceremonies will be evangelist Angela Wills of World Harvest Christian Ministry. Devotional service will be led by Robert Holmes of Shepherd’s House and Robbie L. Carter of Dalton Baptist churches. The Rev. Jessie Baitmon will deliver the sermon. The public is invited.

Metropolitan Baptist Church will have revival 7:30 nightly, Monday-Friday, April 26-30. The Rev. Jimmy McCullough, pastor of Ways Grove Baptist, will be the evangelist for the week. The Rev. Charles Shipman is pastor.

Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church will have a Family and Friends Celebration 4 p.m., Saturday, April 24. Minister Terrance Thomas will be the guest speaker and S & B Male Chorus will render selections. Albert White, pastor, invites the public.

Lewis Holy Temple Church of God in Christ will celebrate its fourth church anniversary 11:15 a.m., Sunday, April 25, at the old Blakeney Elementary School, located on College Street. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.

Red Hill

Red Hill Baptist Church will celebrate the 21st pastoral anniversary for the Rev. Eddie Walker 5 p.m., Saturday, May 1. The Rev. Lyes of St. Mary’s Baptist will be in charge of the service. All preachers will be performing. The public is invited.
