Ward Grove

Ward Grove will have its Black History program 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 7.

Mary Robinson of Fellowship Baptist Church will be the worship leader.

Devotional leaders will be Ike Hodge and John Mack.

The public is invited. The Rev. Judson Scott is pastor.

Second Hopeful

Second Hopeful will have its first pastoral appreciation for the Rev. R.W. Roundtree Jr. 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14.

The Rev. Debret Nero and Spring Grove Baptist Church of North Augusta, S.C. will be special guests.

The public is invited.

Second McCannan

Second McCannan Baptist Church in Sardis will celebrate the 12th pastoral anniversary for the Rev. William Patterson 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7.

The Rev. Frankie Owens of Statesboro will be the guest speaker.

Daniel Grove

Daniel Grove Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 22nd missionary anniversary 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28.

The president of the 10th District Missionary Convention of the GMBC Inc. the Rev. Melvin Adams and New Holt Baptist Church will be special guests.

The Rev. Steven L. Leverett, pastor, invites the public.

Third Chapel

Third Chapel Baptist Church will have its annual Family and Friends program 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6.

The Rev. Bobby Williams Sr. will be the guest speaker.

The Rev. L.E. Jones, pastor, invites the public.

Lovett Hill

Lovett Hill St. James Baptist Church will have its annual Black History Revival 7:30 nightly, Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 15-17.

The Rev. E.R. Bing, pastor of Phillip Grove Baptist, will be the guest minister.

Seed of Faith

Seed of Faith Deliverance Church will have a public Christian movie entertainment event 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6.

Refreshments will be served.

Also, the church will have its missionary service Sunday, Feb. 7.

James Mickens of Waynesboro will be the guest minister.

Sunday School begins at 10 a.m., and service follows at 11:40 a.m.

Covenant Deliverance

Covenant Deliverance Ministries will have its Miracles, Healing and Deliverance service every first Sunday.

This week’s service will be held at 6 p.m.

First Bynes Grove

First Bynes Grove will have its Family and Friends program 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14.

The Rev. Shipman, pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker.

The Rev. Jerome Lafavor, pastor, invites the public.

Thompson Bridge

Thompson Bridge Baptist Church will celebrate its second pastoral appreciation for the Rev. Bobby Griffin his wife Udell 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7.

Master and mistress of ceremonies will be the Rev. Ralph Moore and Linda Moore of Neely Grove Baptist.

The Rev. Frank Bedford, pastor of Freewill, Bargeron Grove and New Zion Baptist churches, will be in charge of the service.

The public is invited to attend. Dinner will be served.

Murphy Ebenezer

Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church will have it Men and Women’s Day Sunday, Feb. 7.

Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m., and worship service follows at 11:30 a.m.

Master and mistress of ceremonies will be Ronald Young of Ross Grove and Essie Young of Thompson Bridge Baptist.

Devotional services will be led by Curtis Roberts of First United Fellowship and Zenobia Freeman of St. Mary’s.

Phillip Grove

The Pastor’s Support Ministry of Phillip Grove Baptist Church will sponsor a Baby Contest 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. Elliott R. Bing, pastor, invites the public.

Cochran Grove

Cochran Grove Baptist Church will now hold services on the second and third Sundays beginning Sunday, Feb. 14.

Sunday school begins at 8 a.m., and worship service follows at 9 a.m.

Thomas Grove

Thomas Grove Baptist Church will have its annual Black History Program 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 7.
