Mr. Robert Lynwood Jenkins

Mr. Robert Lynwood Jenkins, age 66, of Keysville, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.

Memorial services were held Monday, Feb. 1, at 4:30 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Billy Lassiter officiated.

Robert is the beloved husband of Linda Linton Jenkins, and a proud Papa to four children and five grandchildren.

Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He was a retired master carpenter, Masonic Brother and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.

Lynn was the son of the late Wilburn Jenkins and the late Marion Hall Jenkins.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Linwood Carl Jenkins and Tommy Joe Jenkins.

Loving family members include his wife of 47 years, Linda Jenkins; a son, Henry Jenkins (Georgia), a son, Jason Jenkins (Jessica); daughter-in-law, Tina Jenkins; grandchildren, Christopher Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins, Jonathon Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins and Jeremy Jenkins; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Hunter and Jessica Segrest.

He is survived by a brother, Jack Jenkins; three sisters, Judy Vann (Lewis), Patricia Powell (Eric) and Gail Laughlin (Mike); an aunt, Alice Smith; and a beloved extended family.

Memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Keysville, GA.
