Armed robber gets 30 years for Burke County crimes
      An armed robber who held up two Burke County homeowners had another 30 years tacked onto an already lengthy prison term. George Michael Hinton, 37, pleaded guilty last week to armed robbery and two counts of burglary for the crimes he committed here last June.

Four sentenced in theft, burglary cases
      A Keysville man was sent to prison last week after admitting to burglarizing his neighbor’s home last August. Jacquesz McClinton Bell, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of burglary. He was arrested for the crime about two weeks after it occurred when investigators found stolen electronics in his backyard.
