Farm Loan Program receives $38.8 million in loan funds

      While many lenders reduced their overall lending during fiscal year 2009, the Farm Service Agency increased their lending to agriculture customers by nearly 20% over previous years. In 2009, the 11 Georgia Farm Service Agency - Farm Loan Program Teams located throughout the state made a total of 448 direct operating loans for $38.
