First Baptist Church members are trying to make Christmas better … one shoebox at a time. Beginning Monday, the church will begin collecting items for Operation Christmas Child - a program that delivers wrapped shoe boxes full of gifts to children in more than 100 countries suffering from natural disaster, war, terrorism, disease, famine and poverty.
