Roberson Grove

Roberson Grove Missionary Baptist Church will have its Cotton Rally Festival Sunday, Oct. 11.

Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m.; worship service begins at 11:30 a.m.

Gospel Explosions

Gospel Explosions of Sardis will celebrate its 21st singing anniversary 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.

Performances will be by BBJ Inspirational Choir of Allendale, S.C.; Family Mass Inspirational Choir, Sardis; The Stars of Faith, Girard; Gospel Sensational, Tri County; Tyrone & Gospel Starlight, Sylvania; Roberts Sisters, Sylvania; and The New Life Gospel Singers, Sylvania.

Admission is free.

Thankful Missionary Thankful Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its junior and senior choir anniversary 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.

Terry Winston will be master of ceremonies. Gordon Grove Baptist Church of Millen will be the guest choir.

Refreshments will be served.

Bethany

Bethany Methodist Church will have its annual homecoming 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.

The Rev. Tom Oliver will be the guest speaker.

A covered dish lunch will be enjoyed in the social hall following the service.

The public is invited.

Second Hopeful

Second Hopeful Baptist Church will celebrate the 45th anniversary of its ushers board 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.

The Rev. Berry Rogers will be the special guest.

Second Bynes

Second Bynes Grove Missionary Baptist Church will hold its second Deacon Appreciation Day, 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 12. Deacon Charlie Sams and Sister Eloise Sams of Portersville Baptist Church will be master and mistress of the ceremony. The church is located at 238 Byne-Sunshine Road, and the Rev. James F. Lewis, Pastor, invites the public to attend.

New Birth

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church music ministry will present "God Is Able" workshop 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Oct. 13-15.

A concert is scheduled for 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18.

Terrance Thomas is conductor.

Classes are as follows:

Tuesday, Oct. 13 - Why we worship;

Wednesday, Oct. 14 - Musician and pastor's relationship; and

Thursday, Oct. 15 - Song selections.

Pre-registration is recommended.

Phillip Grove

Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church will hold its 43rd Youth Church

Anniversary, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 11. The Rev. Chavous Boyd of

Mount Vernon Baptist Church will be in charge of the services. The church is located at 2015 Herndon Road, and Pastor Elliott R. Bing invites the public to attend.

Summerstand

Summerstand Social Aid Society #3 will celebrate its anniversary, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11 at Jones Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Melvin Habersham will deliver the message. The public is invited to attend.

Brown Grove

Brown Grove Baptist Church of Keysville will hold its annual Men & Women's Day Program, 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18. The Rev. Dr. David

Kemp along with his churches Antioch Rock Creek & Brinson Hill Baptist churches will be guests.

Brown Grove will also hold its annual youth revival services, 7 p.m. nightly, Tuesday Oct. 20 through Thursday, Oct. 22. Guest Revivalist will be the Rev. Harold Moore of Kingom Life Fellowship Ministries, Wadley.

The public is invited to attend both events.

Williams Grove

Williams Grove Baptist Church of Waynesboro will have services 7:30 tonight (Oct. 7) and tomorrow night (Oct. 8).

The Rev. Bobby Williams Jr. will be the guest speaker. The public is invited.

Oak Grove

Oak Grove Baptist Church of Girard will have its annual Men & Women Day 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.

The Rev. Ellis Godbee Jr. will be the guest minister.
