Development Authority supports junior college

      East Georgia College has garnered more support for plans to establish a site in Waynesboro. The Burke County Development Authority voted unanimously Tuesday to provide up to $1,500 monthly for utilities to help the school establish its newest location.

      Edmund Burke Academy is breaking new ground. This Sunday, Aug. 30, a 2 p.m. ceremony will be held in celebra- tion of the upcoming construction of a new kindergarten/primary complex at the Highway 56 campus.
