Banks get on board with concert series
     Local banks have gotten on board with the season ticket drive for the Waynesboro-Burke Concert Series 2009-2010 performances. Season tickets may be now be purchased from Capital City Bank, First National Bank, Queensborough Bank, Regions Bank and Southern Bank in Waynesboro and Sardis, as well as through concert members. One $40 season pass provides one adult ticket for each of the season's four performances. Those who purchase "friend level" season passes get four tickets for each performances, a name in each program and an invitation to the gala kick-off party in September.       Rachel Isabella Register Rick and Ta-Mara Register announce the birth of their daughter, Rachel Isabella, born Aug. 4, 2009, at University Hospital in Augusta. She weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Her grandparents are Perry and Barbara Jenkins of Girard, Larry Hicks of Hephzibah and the late Richard and Edith Register of Sardis.
