What's cookin?

Kathy Sturkie thanks Paulette Black after getting the first autographed copy of her new cookbook, "The Best of Paulette's Best," as Darlene Rabitsch, owner of Pickett Fence, looks on. The cookbook, which can be purchased at Pickett Fence and Pineland Bakery, features 200 recipes including some of Paulette's favorites like Black Eyed Pea Salad, Fresh Vegetable Casserole and Savory Herbed Donuts. Recipes call for Black's famous products like her Herb Blend, Spice Rub and Seasoned Salt. Cookbooks are $20 and are also available from Black.
