Golden China robbed Saturday night A Golden China employee was robbed at gunpoint while locking up Saturday night. According to a report filed at the Waynesboro Police Department, Daisy Lawerence was leaving the business around 10 p.m. when she was rushed and robbed by three black males with t-shirts covering their faces. Lawerence told police the men ran from behind Daniel's Cleaners yelling and pointing what looked like a gun. They stole her purse and the night's deposit, which contained an assortment of checks and cash. The men took off on foot down Seventh Street. According to investigator Claude Wade, a canine unit followed the scent down Seventh Street, but lost it at Cherry Street, where it was believed the robbers parked a getaway car. According to Waynesboro Police, a $500 reward will be given for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the three suspects. KNOW SOMETHING?
