From Staff Reports

Waynesboro's Huddle House has a new owner.

Entrepreneur and established Huddle House franchisee Dan King recently acquired four additional Huddle House locations, including the restaurant on Highway 25 South, and hopes to strengthen the presence and community connection of each.

The addition of these four res- taurants to King's roster makes him the owner of seven Huddle Houses in total, all in Georgia.

"King has exceeded our expectations in maximizing customer experiences at Huddle House by delivering impeccable customer service and an inviting atmosphere that breathes southern tradition," said Phil Greifeld, CEO of Huddle House. "We know he will continue to provide these community oriented ideals of Huddle House at his four new locations."

When Huddle House approached King about taking on more locations, he happily accepted.

"I wanted to be a part of something where people gather together and enjoy a family-oriented environment. That truly is the essence of Huddle House and the reason why I became involved with this brand," he said.

In addition to being the owner and operator of seven Huddle House restaurants, King also establishes strong ties within each community where his Huddle Houses are located. "Growing up in the South, have strong values for family, friends and tradition and I convey these values at each of my Huddle House restaurants," he said.
