Good Day Café has a new look. Artist Kristen Sorrels, who followed the Elba Express pipeline project from her native New Hampshire to Waynesboro, has nearly finished with a mural that will transform the streetscape of the Liberty Street eatery. Sorrels' original design is a postcard motif that integrates Good Day's teacup logo with a bird dog, the Burke County Court House, a Cherokee rose, brown thrasher and other local and state icons. The Bears have done it again. For the fourth time in five years, Burke County High School won the boys region track and field championship.
