Burke Happenings Genealogical and Historical Society Burke County Genealogical and Historical Society will meet 7 p.m., Monday, April 13, at the Burke County Library. The public is invited. Retired Educators The Burke County Retired Educators Association will meet 3 p. m., Thursday, April 2, at the Burke County Senior Citizens Center. All members are asked to attend. Easter Egg Hunt The Burke County Library will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 10-years-old 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 10. Please bring your Easter basket. Bake Sale The women of St. Michael's Episcopal Church will hold a spring bake sale 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at St. Michael's Parish Hall, 515 Liberty St., Waynesboro. The sale will include Master's and Easter goodies made from scratch such as cakes, pies, cookies, Mrs. Shirley's famous sweet rolls, cheese balls, shrimp balls, appetizers and frozen casseroles ready to bake. They will also be selling plants. Class of 1980 Waynesboro High School Class of 1980 will meet 4 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Communities In Schools building (Southern Bank).
