A man for his time
      The baby-boomers had their shot and the results were mixed. Bill Clinton will be remembered for an administration that succeeded on many fronts but was marred by his personal failings. George W. Bush, while widely recognized as an excellent husband and father, failed as president in ways too numerous to mention.

      10 years ago: Jan. 20, 1999 A Midville resident left his Buick LeSabre on a railroad crossing where it was later demolished by a locomotive pulling 115 cars. The driver was charged with several offenses, including DUI.
