Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Cobb Evans, 60, entered into rest Saturday,

Aug. 2, 2008, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Funeral services will be

held Saturday,

Aug. 9, at 1 p.m. at Bottsford Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Griffin presiding and the Rev. Nathaniel Howard Jr, eulogist.

Burial will be at Thompson Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 36 years, Fred Evans Sr.; two sons, Christopher W. Cobb of Ontario, Oregon, and Fred Evans Jr. of Waynebsoro, Ga.; two daughters, twins, LaKisha Y. Evans and LaTrisha E. Jackson of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Galvin Evans, Demonica Jackson, Devin Evans, Laila Jackson and Demond Jackson Jr. and one expected in October; four sisters, Geraldine Hunter, Patricia Cobb, Charlene (Michael) Jackson of Ann Arbor, Mich., Georgia (Jerry) Savoy of Augusta, Ga.; eight brothers, John (Alice) Cobb Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C., Carl A. Cobb of Savannah, Ga., Clyde (Annette) Cobb of Atlanta, Ga., Larry (Ivelyn) Cobb of Millen, Ga., Tyrone (Bridgett) Cobb of Waynesboro, Ga., Michael (Patricia ) Cobb of Augusta, Ga., Ulysses Cobb of Midville, Ga. Gregory (Kathy) Cobb of Huntsville, Ala.; two aunts, Ruby Scott of Philadelphia, Pa., and Frankie M. Cobb of Louisville, Ga.; nine sistersin law, four brothers-in-law ;and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be brothers, John, Carl, Clyde, Larry, Tyrone, Michael, Ulysses and Gregroy Cobb.
