Mr. Harold Douglas Quick Sr.

Mr. Harold D. Quick Sr. age 77, of Waynesboro, Ga., entered into eternal rest on Aug. 1, 2008 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Mr. Quick is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mrs. Grace Crockett Quick. Mr. Quick was a native of Burke County, Georgia, the son of the late Twid and Willie Mae Godbee Quick.

Mr. Quick will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving and giving husband, Daddy and Papa, a devoted Atlanta Braves fan and a faithful Georgia Bulldog fan.

Funeral services for Mr. Quick were conducted 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Robertson's Heritage Chapel, 220 East 6th St., Waynesboro with the Rev. Chuck Gordon officiating.

Interment followed at Burke Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro

Mr. Quick is additionally survived by a son, Hal (Darlene) Quick of Evans, Ga.; seven daughters, Denise (Eddie) Johnson of Portal, Ga., Angela (John) Taylor of Atlanta, Ga., Judy (David) Mullins of Spartanburg, S.C., Crystal Bales of Augusta, Ga., Audrey (Andy) Stewart of Waynesboro; Anne Bales of Augusta and Laurie Hillis of Waynesboro; 19 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother Twid (Joyce) Quick of Augusta; six sisters, Mary Brown of Waynesboro, Debra (Jack) Sasser of Waynesboro, Doris Faye Lairscy of Waynesboro, Jane Neely of Augusta, Audrey (Steve) Hunt, Irmo, S.C. and Sandra (Johnny) Minnick of Martinez, Ga.

Mr. Quick was predeceased by his oldest child, Harold "Pop" Quick Jr., and three brothers, Charles Quick, Byne Quick and Wayne Quick.
