Mr. Billy Wilbur Zeigler

Mr. Billy Wilbur Zeigler, age 61, of Sardis, Ga., entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2008 in Shreveport, La.

Mr. Zeigler is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mrs. Brenda Burnett Zeigler.

Funeral services for Mr. Zeigler will be conducted in the chapel of Robertson's Heritage Chapel, 220 East 6th St., Waynesboro, Ga., on Thursday, July 24, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Dixon and the Rev. Karen Zeigler officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon one hour prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at Robertson's Heritage Chapel.

Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro.

He was a native of Screven County, Ga., and the son of the late Wilbur A. and Nena Peel Zeigler.

Mr. Zeigler was a member of Goloid Methodist Church, Sylvania, Ga. and an employee of P&L Transportation Co., Inc., Port Wentworth, Ga .

Mr. Zeigler is additionally survived by a son, Billy W. Zeigler of Springfield, Ga., a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Marcus Mogel of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Heather Boddiford, Daniel Boddiford and Matthew W.W. Mogel.

Mr. Zeigler was predeceased by his brother, Mike Zeigler, and his grandson, Matthew.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Marcus Mogel, Glenn Edwards, Len Wilson, Randall Libbey, David Wilson and Scott Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Horace Allen, Henry Phillips and fellow employees of P&L Transportation Company of Port Wentworth.

The family will gratefully receive flowers but for those wishing to make memorial contributions, please consider a charity of your choice or the First Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 853 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
