Mrs. Christian Daniel Giles

Mrs. Christian Daniel Giles, 24, of Evans, Ga., daughter, sister, and wife, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday July 16, 2008.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday July 21, at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. Frank S. Page officiating. Burial followed at Westover Memorial Park.

A native of Augusta, Christian was a Cum Laude graduate of Augusta State University. She was a kindergarten teacher at John Milledge Elementary School in Richmond County and an active member of Warren Baptist Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Auburn C. Giles of Evans; her mother, Debbie Daniel and husband Henry of Waynesboro, Ga.; a brother, James Nelson Daniel of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Freddie and Nancy Chambers of Trenton, S.C.; aunt, Marilyn C. Hensley and husband Keith of Aiken, S.C.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry M. Giles and Rose Ann Giles of Evans; and brothers-in-law, Brett A. Giles of Evans, Keefe M. Giles of Martinez, Darryl L. Giles of Martinez, and Anthony Brian Giles of Augusta. She was preceded in death by her father, the late James Robert Daniel.

Pallbearers were Chief Steve Kinder, Mike Carp, Bobby Bagwell, James McPeak, Stephen Heard and Tony Heard.
