      Barrett Wimberly Barrett Wimberly was recently promoted to Test Manager for Areva T & D in Waynesboro. He has served as a Test Engineer since 1992. In his new position he is responsible for managing the entire test dep artment, which includes all routine and type testing of transformers.

      Shawn and Kelley Barefield of Waynesboro announce the birth of their son, John Keegan Barefield, born Friday, July 18, 2008, at 8:19 a.m. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21¼ inches long. He is named for his great-grandfather, the late John Francis Quick.
