Social Security

A Social Security representative will be present in Waynesboro Tuesday, May 20, at the Burke County Court House, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Those wishing to meet with the representative should have proof of age and identity when applying for a new or duplicate Social Security card. New changes in the law require the representatives to view the marriage license application as well as the marriage certificate when requesting a change in name.
