The following arrests and citations were reported by the Waynesboro Police Department for the past week:

Monday, May 5

• Lashawn Laqunia Dukes, 33, of 512 East 7th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for probation violation.

Wednesday, May 7

• Alex Larenzo Roberts, 25, of 603 Pecan Chase, Waynesboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct and interference with police.

Friday, May 9

• Leon Russell Barlow, 57, of 520 Jones Ave., Waynesboro, was arrested for DUI, failure to maintain lane and violation of the Georgia Open Records Act.

• Alajuwon Chance, 22, of 6154 River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested on Sardis Police Department warrants for aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

• Shirlene McTier, 49, of 705 A St., Waynesboro, was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). A $1,300 bond was posted.

Sunday, May 11

• Joseph Kedarell Hughes, 24, of 1025 Quaker Road, Waynesboro, was arrested on outstanding warrants for arson in the first degree, cruelty to children in the third degree, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Burke County Sheriff

The following arrests and citations were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's Office for the past week:

Thursday, May 29

• David O'Neal Williams, 40, of 737 Jones Ave., Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $5,900.

Monday, May 5

• Barbara Ann Parish, 42, of 932 Washington Road, Sardis, was arrested for deposit account fraud. A $375 property bond was posted.

Tuesday, May 6 • Bryan Paul Christy, 20, of 828 Burke St., Sardis, was arrested by the Sardis Police Department for obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, driving with a suspended or revoked license, violation of tail light requirements, violation of headlight requirements and expired revalidation decal. A $15,375 property bond was posted.

• John Michael Sembach, 54, of 444 Winter Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for simple assault. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

Friday, May 9

• Cynthia Kay Hendley, 45, of 866 Hwy. 21 East, Millen, was arrested for terroristic threats and acts and harassing phone calls. A $7,200 property bond was posted.

• Jeffrey Scott Gray, 43, of 308 Roberts Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for criminal trespass. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

• Catina Lashann Heggs, 29, of 3302 Hwy. 171 North, Louisville, was arrested for deposit account fraud. A $375 property bond was posted.
