Augusta Tech holds open house
Augusta Technical College's, Waynesboro campus held its open house last Thursday, May 1, with more than 200 people attending the event. Fifteen booths were set up inside the school, offering a variety of services to those in attendance. Brian Roberts, Director of Admissions and Counseling Services, said the purpose of the open house was to increase enrollment and give students an opportunity to look at programs and talk with teachers and staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Attendees were treated with snacks, hand massages and free blood pressure screenings. Pictured is Johnny Bess as he gives one individual a hand massage.
