Jones-Quarterman to wed the Rev. Parker May 24

Rev. Peter Parker Jr. and Kimberly Jones-Quarterman

The Rev. Drs. John A. and Bertha W. Lockhart of Louisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Jones-Quarterman to the Rev. Peter Parker Jr., son of the late Rev. Peter Parker Sr. of Petersburg, Va. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Henry Jones Jr.

The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Paine College's Gilbert Lambert Chapel in Augusta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Benjamin and Berdia Mae Wade Sr., the late Henry Jones Sr. and the late Ruth Jones, all of Waynesboro.

She is a 1984 graduate of Louisville High School. She is currently employed at Eddie Bussey State Farm Agency as a life insurance specialist and at Macy's as a better sportswear sales associate.

The bridegroom-elect is retired from the United States Army and is pastor of Fairfield Baptist Church in Waynesboro.
