Four qualify for city council seats in Keysville
By Diana Royal dianar@thetruecitizen.com

Four Keysville residents have qualified to seek election to the city council.

According to Eunice Seigle, Keysville city clerk, incumbent council members Harold Kight, Sharon Neely and Willie Mae Jones will seek reelection in July. They'll be challenged by newcomer Kathy Watts.

Seigle said all four names will be listed on the ballot, and the three garnering the most votes will fill the seats.

She also said the city's election will be held separately from the July primary and that those wishing to cast votes must do so at the Charles Walker Municipal Building, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on July 15.
